Elizabeth City, NC- On Saturday, November 8, 2014, 252 Outdoors will be hosting a rock fish tournament to help the Food Bank of the Albemarle fight hunger in northeast NC. The First Annual Rock the Food Bank Charity Rock Fish Tournament is ...being held in Edenton, with registration at the River House Restaurant and weigh in at Edenhouse Bridge Boat Launch on the Chowan River. Registration is
$40 and one bag of non-perishable goods per boat entered. Proceeds and food donations will benefit Food Bank of the Albemarle. Cash prizes will be given to first, second, and third place winners for total pounds and a prize for the single heaviest fish.The tournament will happen, rain or shine. Registration begins at 6am, boats must be in the water by 9am, and weigh-in will be held between noon and 4pm. The first twenty-five entrants will receive a goody bag. The address for the tourney is 248 Wharf Landing Road, Edenton, NC. “Our group enjoys hunting all types of wild game and sports fishing.
